Real Estate Analyst

Job Summary: As a Real Estate Analyst at Arcan, you will play an important role bridging the gap between property financial performance and onsite management. As a Real Estate Analyst, you will see how a property truly operates and what is necessary to drive financial performance. This position requires a skilled mathematical mind that is open to accounting and financial review and how those areas of expertise can directly affect the performance of a property.
Essential Job Functions: Financials and Banking - Assist asset management with the review of monthly financial statements and budgets
- Monitor and supervise banking and payment activity
- Coordinate, prepare and communicate regarding a varying array of reporting
- Monitor budgets and make recommendations to increase efficiency
- Recognize and correct inconsistencies
- Identify and propose solutions to financial and operational challenges
Property Operations Assistance - Assist the asset management team in all areas of property performance:
- Operate in AI-powered CRM and Yardi to support financial performance
- Complete and monitor weekly and month reporting
- Apply financials strategy directly to operations to drive results
- Routinely travel to properties location across the southeast to evaluate operations onsite
We’re Looking for An Individual Who Has: - A degree in or experience in finance and/or accounting
- Must be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing
- Available to work days and travel as needed
- Must demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Must demonstrate ability to successfully work on a team
What is required: - Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or equivalent with relevant course work
- Must have a familiarity with the Microsoft suite of products specifically Excel
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday 40 hours a week (work schedules may vary). Must be available for occasional day or overnight travel throughout the southeast area.
