Description of the role:
The Experienced Hyundai General Sales Manager at Key Hyundai of Milford will play a vital role in driving sales and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional sales expertise, and in-depth knowledge of the Hyundai brand and its products. The General Sales Manager will oversee the sales department, develop effective sales strategies, train and motivate the sales team, and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. This position offers a competitive compensation package of $180,000 - $300,000 per year and is based in Milford, Connecticut.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
- Lead, mentor, and train the sales team to optimize performance and customer satisfaction
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the sales department and ensure efficient workflow
- Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent service and resolving any issues
- Collaborate with other departments to align sales goals and objectives with overall business strategies
- Stay up-to-date with Hyundai products, industry trends, and best practices
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing regular reports to upper management
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold the company's standards and values
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Sales Manager in the automotive industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- In-depth knowledge of Hyundai vehicles and their features, as well as the ability to educate customers
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
