About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Ocean Marine to spearhead the development of an ocean marine practice within its established, specialty, inland marine business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and lead a team, bringing their expertise to an already thriving, award-winning environment. This role is ideal for a proven Marine Vice President or Head of Marine with a strong background in either Hull & Machinery, P&I, or Marine Cargo, and a desire for an entrepreneurial challenge. The Head of Ocean Marine will be responsible for opening doors with brokers, attracting capacity from insurers and reinsurers, and recruiting a strong team of underwriters. Applicants for the Head of Ocean Marine position should be naturally driven, entrepreneurial, and excited about the long-term earning potential. The role requires the ability to build something special from the ground up and is suited to individuals who are confident in their networking and business development skills. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Marine Underwriter, possess a strong network, and be ready to take on a leadership role with a focus on growth and expansion.
