Job Description

smartdept.inc. is searching for a Bilingual Copywriter for a pharmacy and eCommerce client located in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will come with 2 years of experience. This is a full-time, fully remote 3-month contract opportunity that has the possibility of extension to 6 months. Responsible for producing written work for web-based promotions, page layouts, and other creative projects. Ensures branding standards are consistent and maintained across writing assignments. What Youll Do: Supporting both the Enterprise Content Team and Marketing Team, this copywriter will be an individual contributor focusing on the creation of copy for social content mainly pertaining to educational/informational content. Researches, writes, revises, and proofs usable and appropriate material in assigned subject area(s), including but not limited to user-centered copy for mobile UI and all mobile-focused marketing pieces, ensuring products are in line with functional requirements, quality, and brand standards across digital touchpoints. Keeps current in assigned areas in order to consistently and effectively convey the brand and positioning within the marketplace. Manages timelines, milestones, and internal details on project work to ensure timely delivery of written work. Participates in meetings facilitated by the business area or project initiator to understand the goals and objectives throughout the stages of a project. What Youll Need: Preferably native speaking. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Agency experience as a copywriter creating ad or promotional copy for a variety of digital channels. Experience crafting and editing guidelines and standards documentation. Familiarity interpreting wireframes and technical documentation for customer-facing UI. Experience and comfortability working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to work with speed and agility. Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years of experience working as a copywriter. At least 3-5 years of experience working on marketing and/or advertising projects. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience producing written work for web-based promotions, page layouts, and other creative projects outside of social.
