Responsibilities

•Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
•Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations
•Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests
•Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations
•Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions

Qualifications

•Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
•Previous experience working in food service is preferred
•Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
•Outstanding time management and organizational skills
•Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
