Job Description
Description
At Gitwit, we know that in the world of product development, success is often hidden in the smallest details. A tiny change in user experience can make the difference between a breakthrough product and one that fades into obscurity. That’s why we don’t just follow trends—we obsess over insights. We are driven by FOMI—Fear of Missing Insights—and we’re searching for someone who shares our passion.
As a member of our Discovery Team, you’ll help build entirely new ventures, develop and launch groundbreaking products, and guide continuous discovery for ongoing improvements. Your role is critical: the 100s of insights you uncover will shape solutions that directly impact millions of users.
We know that discovery is not an afterthought—it’s our competitive edge. While other companies talk about empathy, we live it, placing discovery and user understanding at the core of everything we do.
Relentlessly Research-Centered, Because We’re User-Centered
To understand the importance we place on UX research, here’s a glimpse of what’s on our radar for 2025:
Gitwit’s #1 Core Value: Use empathy to drive innovation
As a UX Researcher, you’ll help us build products that make a meaningful difference in people’s daily lives. You’ll collaborate with designers, strategists, engineers, and other researchers to develop fresh ideas and improve existing ones. Whether you’re validating a new concept, testing wireframes, or refining live products, you’ll be at the forefront of uncovering the insights that guide our product strategy.
To take our UX research to the next level, we need someone who can:
Use multiple methodologies to discover user and product insights.
From quick user gut checks with the team to robust 40+ interview projects, every product we work on is a little bit unique. In the past, you’ve designed and executed research plans that employ a variety of different research methods. These might include ethnographic research, user interviews, surveys, and product data analysis. You can figure out which approach or combination makes the most sense for the need at hand.
Deliver Findings that Drive Action.
You’re not just gathering data—you’re telling stories. Your ability to sift through research artifacts and product data will help you identify the insights that matter most. You’ll communicate these findings in a way that sparks empathy and inspires action from our teams.
Never Stop Learning.
At Gitwit, we believe in continuous discovery, and that mindset extends to you. You’re always on the lookout for new research techniques, eager to experiment with innovative approaches that can lead to better outcomes.
Bring New Software Ventures to Life.
We don’t just improve existing products—we create entirely new ones. You’ll be a vital part of bringing our new ventures from idea to reality, guiding everything from concept validation and journey mapping to UX discovery. Your insights will lead to pivotal shifts in product design and strategy.
Apply Your Expertise Across Industries.
From healthcare and banking to consumer apps and SaaS products, the scope of our work is vast. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your UX research skills across a wide range of industries and projects, ensuring every product we touch delivers exceptional user experiences.
