PURPOSE OF THE JOB The purpose of this job is to research and analyze user behavior, identify requirements, and propose solutions that translate business needs into engaging user experiences on screens of all sizes. This position exists to define and ensure consistency for User Experience (UX) design standards across the enterprise. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Drives end-to-end interaction design. Works with business stakeholders, project owners, and internal departments to collect design requirements. Develops web assets that are easy and engaging for ICW Group’s various customer sets. Creates wireframes, storyboards, low and high-fidelity mockups, screen flows, and prototypes. Develops experience personas and usage scenarios in partnership with subject matter experts. Conducts usability testing and analysis, presents results, and incorporates results into the design process. Takes empathetic approach to web UX. Advocates for customer needs and requirements while meeting detailed project schedules. Designs web interfaces that are intuitive and innovative. Creates great user experiences through user-centered design. Collaborates with programmers and contributes to overall company practices. Works with back-end WordPress programmers and graphic designers to ensure the visual design reflects best practices and consistency. Recommends and implements best practices to be used in all product designs. Collaborates with others to create inspiring digital content experiences. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Education And Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred with a major or emphasis in Visual Design, Computer Science, Information Architecture, or related field. Minimum 3 years of related experience required. Additional experience, education, and/or certifications may be considered to meet minimum requirements. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required. Knowledge And Skills Ability to self-direct and collaborate with strong communication, time-management, and process management skills. Must be up to date with latest developments in UX/UI design and HTML5/CSS/JS experience, required. Ability to develop user interface design, human-computer interaction and usability. Working knowledge of web designer, UX designer, information architect, interaction designer, or similar role working on large-scale custom sites. Ability to use Creativity and graphic design combined with technical expertise and attention to detail is critical. Must provide portfolio of UX-focused work samples for web and mobile applications. Previous experience working in marketing a plus. Business-to-business/financial services experience a plus. Previous experience working with Salesforce and WordPress platforms a plus. Physical Requirements Office environment – no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands and employees are regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and hear. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position operates in an office environment and requires the frequent use of a computer, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment. The current range for this position is $86,247.55 - $145,450.54. This range is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors unique to each candidate, including experience, education and the location of the role and considers employees performing substantially similar work.
