Leesville, LA Ultrasound Technologist Traveler Contract Opening

Ivory Medical is seeking experienced  Ultrasound Tech available for an allied health travel assignment in Leesville, LA for day shifts beginning as soon as possible.

Opportunity Specifics:

• Contract Type: Ultrasound Tech 
• Setting: Inpatient Hospital
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 Week Contracting
• Shift Availability: Days 7:30a - 4P (M-F 40 hrs/wk)
• EMR: Medhost
• Will share call during week with 2 other Techs and take call on weekends every 3rd week
• Covers - General, OBGYN, Vascular, Carotid, Abdominal

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Allied Health program
• Registration by the A.A.R.T. and Louisiana licensed
• Current CPR Certification
• Previous experience in ultrasound technology preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform Diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluations and treatment by attending physician
• Must be able to work independently, as well as, in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments
• Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution
• Must have excellent planning, coordinating, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent technical ability and interpersonal communication skills
