\n Unit Specifics:\nNumber of Beds : 2,000+ deliveries each year, predominantly high risk population. 11 Labor Rooms plus 3 swing and 4 bed triage/3 Operating Rooms. 14 ante-partum beds\nUnit staffing description- All RN staff with unit secretary and OR surgical techs. OB Anesthesia designated Center of Excellence. Attending and OB resident staff. Doula program coming in 2024\nType of equipment :\nDocumentation system: Epic and Centricity Perinatal (Epic coming 3/24)\nScheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts\nFloating policy: to areas with competency. AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holes\nPatient Experience requirements: L&D nurses required to float to high risk antepartum unit\n\nHospital Specifics-\nCertifications: Academic Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center (adult); Children’s Hospital within a hospital. 60 bed Level IV NICU\n\nMust have: Labor and Delivery experience, high risk experience\n\nAdvanced skills needed: Cesarean Sections, Inductions, Bariatric patients, other high-risk conditions, post-partum Mg\n\nProcedures performed on unit: NSTs, Cerclage, triage, recovery after C- section\n\nCertifications Required: Electronic Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, NRPMedical Solutions Job ID #741392.
