RCL Mechanical is a leading HVAC and plumbing service provider, dedicated to delivering top-quality service to our clients. We are looking for an experienced and passionate HVAC or Plumbing Trainer to join our team and help us continue to raise the bar in service excellence.

Position Overview:
The training manager will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for our technicians and sales team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all team members are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their jobs effectively. You will also play a key role in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training curriculums for HVAC and Plumbing technicians and the sales team.
  • Deliver hands-on technical training, as well as sales and customer service training.
  • Create and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources.
  • Lead onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring all technical staff and sales personnel are prepared and confident in their roles.
  • Monitor and assess training effectiveness, making improvements where necessary.
  • Work closely with managers to identify training needs and provide ongoing support.
  • Stay current with HVAC industry standards, technology, and trends to ensure training programs are up-to-date.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members as they develop their skills.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HVAC trainer or in a senior technician role with a strong ability to teach and mentor.
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, installations, and repairs.
  • Experience developing training curriculums and instructional materials.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable way.
  • Ability to lead hands-on training sessions.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and customer service training.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for helping others succeed.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
