Farnsworth Group is seeking a Training and Development Manager in our Lisle or Peoria, IL or St. Louis, MO office. Job Activities: Create and deliver learning experiences to enhance the skills, knowledge and overall development of staff Research and stay up to date on industry trends and new training methods Obtain and develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media Maintain and increase utilization of Farnsworth Group’s Learning Management Systems platform Coordinate with outside vendors to provide services as needed Assist management with succession planning and development of individual skills that align with organizational goals Enhance employee skills through training programs such as leadership development, management training, technical training, team building, and communications Secure feedback of all completed training to evaluate and measure results Specific Requirements include: Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development or a relevant field required 5+ years of experience designing and implementing training programs Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) Experience in engineering consulting/professional service firms preferred Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods Ability to evaluate and research training and development options and alternatives Ability to partner with leadership to design and implement effective training and development Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation skills About Farnsworth Group Farnsworth Group is an award winning, employee-owned engineering, architecture, and surveying firm with more than 500 employees located in nearly 30 offices nationwide.
