Japanese corporation is seeking a Tax Auditor at a Japanese CPA firm in Torrance, CA.

Position: Tax Auditor
Industry: Japanese CPA Firm
Location: Torrance, CA / South Bay area
Pay: Up to 150K (DOE) plus benefits
Status: Full time / Direct hire
Work Style: Hybrid

Job Duty:
• Plan and perform operational and financial audits
• Identify business process risks
• Develop testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls
• Document the results of the evaluations
• Develop recommendations and reports based on audits and presenting these ideas
• Plan and allocate resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules
• Any support duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a specialty area such as accounting, finance or business administration
• 6-8 years of hands-on accounting or auditing experience
• Bilingual in Japanese (speak, read and write) is a huge plus but not required
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP guidelines
• Prior success conducting external or internal audits
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
