Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, this position serves as the State Fleet Manager responsible for the oversight and management of the State's motor vehicle fleet, the Fleet Asset Management program staff responsible for statewide policies, and the Fleet Asset Management System (FAMS).
This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to three days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.Training and Development (T&D) assignments may be considered for this position. T&D assignments are temporary assignments made for the purposes of providing career advancement opportunities to prepare permanent civil service employees for future promotions into new occupational fields.
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.
