We are a social-first creative agency with a team of 50+ in Portland, Atlanta, Washington DC, Miami and Boulder. Our passion is bringing innovative and engaging social media-led campaigns to our clients around the world. We are currently looking to expand our media team and are looking for a Senior Media Planner / Buyer, ideally with agency experience in the CPG space.

**Primary Job Description:**

The Senior Media Planner / Buyer is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day relationship with assigned accounts to ensure campaigns and paid efforts are being used effectively to support clients business objectives. Responsible for collaboration with account leads to develop and execute strategic media plans on various platforms, identifying targeting tactics based on client goals. The role requires commitment to driving innovative paid media solutions, flawless execution, reporting and process optimization. And as we are operating in a space that is constantly shifting and evolving, we are looking for somebody who can embrace change and who is excited about figuring out what comes next.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement innovative media strategies that help client achieve brand, marketing, communications and sales objectives using inputs from clients, social media monitoring tools, competitive analyses and secondary research

* Paid media planning and placement, audience development, budgeting and spend tracking, copywriting, placement, optimization and reporting

* Determine expected targets and KPIs for each media plan and tracks progress against actuals to ensure delivery to plan

* Demonstrate a strong understanding of the clients business and the consumer behavior

* Manage relationships with media vendors

* Work on new business opportunities as a part of an integrated team, including but not limited to, creating media plans, points of view, written summaries and client presentations

* Collaborate with creative team to develop creative concepts and assets for paid media

* Use analytics tools and interpret data to present meaningful insights to clients; use insights to continually improve strategy and media placements

* Identify and report on relevant trends (client industries, social, digital, pop culture)

* Support the Senior Director Distribution to improve internal paid media processes, including but not limited to, agency standards, best practices and internal training programs.

**Experience and other Skill Requirements:**

* Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience

* 5+ years of professional level digital media buying / planning, preferably working with large brands or for an agency on CPG products

* Well-versed in all leading social media platforms with a passion for social media and social media trends

* Facebook Media Planning and Media Buying certifications, Twitter Flight School certification, Google Ads Video Certification and Pinterest Academy completion a plus

* Solid understanding of media planning, including media math and digital marketing metrics such as ROAS, CTR, CPM, etc.

* Exceptional analytical skills, budget management and data interpretation skills

* An understanding of how social media initiatives produce positive ROIs

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write professionally for varied audiences and in different voices

* Comfortable presenting in front of clients and colleagues

* Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, ever changing environment and meet absolute deadlines while exceeding client and team expectations
