POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Manager supports the growing needs of NCOA to engage followers on multiple social media platforms. The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing NCOAs presence on all social media channels, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads, and Instagram, as well as new and emerging platforms. The Manager is responsible for strategically building a calendar of content for each platform with input from key internal stakeholders, posting and monitoring engagement, reporting on results, and recommending ways to build the organizations presence digitally in support of our mission.
Positions at this level require advanced knowledge and experience managing projects and deliverables across departments. Incumbents are required to make independent judgements within their scope of work and require minimal oversight. Incumbents generally have five or more years of experience in their discipline and a bachelors degree or the equivalent, as well as substantive experience at this level. Graduate level degrees may be considered in lieu of experience.
