Social Media Manager One of the fastest growing Beauty and Sleep Wellness brands in the industry is looking to hire a Social Media Manager with a passion for content creation to join our growing team in Burbank.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to create compelling video and static content across multiple channels (organic and paid).
- You MUST submit a link to a social media page that you have curated or helped curate. This role requires you to be on camera daily - please do not apply if you cannot meet this requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations-
- Posts regularly on all social platforms either in real time or with Later. Coordinates with the Organic Social team before scheduling to ensure posts continue with the established platform aesthetic when applicable.
- Approves or denies brand partnership opportunities. Notifies team of approved opportunities, sharing project scope and supporting asset creation.
- Ensures all product launches, collabs and giveaway content is scheduled posted by their deadline.
- Responds to above-the-line comments, DMs and emails and loops in upper level management as applicable.
- Creative Conceptualization-
- Delegates Organic Social monthly creative KPIs. Assigns specific tasks as needed.
- Continuously brainstorms new creative concepts for all social platforms, keeping in mind overall brand strategy and storytelling.
- Films and edits own ideated concepts.
- Reviews brand partnership creative for approval.
- Creative sounding board to the Organic Social team when applicable.
- Reviews all social channels from a high level on a monthly basis, providing global feedback to take into the following month.
- Produces weekly live streams for the team as applicable.
- Strategy and Reporting-
- Delegates Organic Social monthly performance KPIs, building long-term goals that align with the overall business objective. Assigns specific tasks as needed.
- Monitors social channels performances using in-platform analytics and Looker. Facilitates a conversation on how to develop better performing content for the next batch of assets.
- Collaborates with Sr. Organic Social Associate to optimize content strategies.
- Reviews Weekly Meeting deck as filled in by Organic Social Associate. Once a month, includes slides on monthly KPI stats. Presents relevant slides during Weekly Meetings.
- Large Scale Productions-
- Serves as Creative Director, working with relevant parties to ensure vision is clearly throughout ahead of filming (if applicable).
- Is the lead brand voice, making sure the brand is presented in the best light
- Communication & Leadership-
- Maintains communication within the Organic Social department and cross-departmentally to stay aligned on priorities.
- Primary point of contact for the Organic Social team in cross-departmental meetings.
- Leads team training, hiring and development.
- Maintains a positive team culture and ensures alignment with overall business goals.
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
- Full-Time in office availability, M-F 9am-5pm at our Burbank, CA HQ.
- Detail-oriented and driven.
- Familiarity with how to use TikTok, Instagram, Youtube and relevant editing tools.
- Share social media links for a page that you either owned or were responsible for - you will NOT be considered unless attached.
- Experience in creating a curated social media page (Instagram or TikTok preferred - can be your personal page).
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite or other post-production editing tools - Photoshop, Lightroom & Finalcut Pro, Cap Cut, Canva etc.
- GSuite, MS Office & Notion experience a plus.
- Experience working in beauty, fashion or other creative environments is preferred.
- Experience managing a small team is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with influencers on content and campaigns.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced culture.
