Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Senior Manager, Program Logistics for Military Programs to join our team based in Grand Prairie, TX. This position will Direct the Program Logistics Team (PLT) as the primary focal point for Military Programs in the support of the Army's Contracted Logistics Support (CLS) of the UH-72 Lakota Program, United States Navy Test Pilot School (USNTPS) PBL Support, and all Foreign Military Support program sustainment. Lead the PLT in planning, developing and implementing the program's operational and contractual requirements that meet financial objectives

Your challenges: Lakota Program Strategic and Operational Logistic Management: 40% - Lead and manage the department's role in meeting the execution of contractual and operational requirements.
- Analysis data sets related to flight hours, parts consumptions, and cost control, identifying trends that drive business decisions and improves process flows.
- Handle customer expectations and relations by ensuring constant follow through of CLSIPT meeting
- Manage multifunctional teams within AHI and vendors or sub-contractors to ensure requirements are filled to meet and or exceed customer needs.
Program Guidance and Knowledge Resource Related to Logistics Support: 30% - Provide supply chain expertise to establish and sustain inventory for the UH-72 Lakota CLS Program, USNTPS PBL Support, and all FMS programs.
- Lead and guide the range and depth analysis required to support and sustain the operational demands of the inventory supporting Military Programs.
- Be responsible for CLS vendor management, On Time Delivery (OTD) of contract modifications ensuring on-time/cost adherence to contractual commitments.
- Track all customer activity to facilitate management reporting on critical issues, back orders, order volume and expected delivery dates, etc.
- Establish open lines of communication with AHI local procurement team and AHD Program Support Office (PSO)
Customer and Fleet Support: 20% - Provide management oversite on all Contractor Field Team (CFT) Services
- Coordinate with all AH support functions (Technical Support, DCR, MRO, Supply Chain, Columbus FAL, AHD...) to perform resolution and risk mitigation on issues and concerns from the customer.
- Lead the operational management of all assigned CLS Key Performance Indicators ensuring all targets are met or exceeded.
- Lead regular reviews of performance metrics related to fleet and or duty assignment.
Team Management 10% - Manage direct reports for Grand Prairie CLS Team
- Ensure on-time compliance with annual training, employee evaluations and goals
- Identify and organize annual team training needs
- Conduct regular reviews of performance indicators related to contract execution
- Conduct personnel performance evaluations and complete appropriate actions
Your boarding pass: Education: Required - Undergraduate degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business or Management or equivalent work experience (i.e., Customer Support, Aviation Commercial/Military Rotary Wing, Supply Chain, etc.)
Preferred - Advanced degree or equivalent experience in the above fields
Experience: Required - 10 years in a management/leadership role within Customer Service, Logistic Support or related fields within the helicopter/aviation industry
Preferred - Professional leadership training/experience
Licensure/Certifications: Required Preferred - Experience in Lean Six Sigma concepts
Travel Required: - 20% Domestic and International
Citizenship: - US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
Clearance: - Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance
- Eligible to obtain a Government Common Access Card (CAC)
