School Paraprofessional (URGENT) job at Focused Staffing Philadelphia, PA, US

Job Description

Title: Paraprofessionals

Compensation: $20 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Location: Woodhaven Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154

Qualifications/Required Skills:

Two-year associate degree required for Para-educators
Applicants must possess all current PA state clearances (Police, Child Abuse and Fingerprinting)
Knowledge of Special Education regulations and procedures
Experience working with students exhibiting multiple disabilities, including: autism, ADD and ADHD, learning disabilities, emotional challenges, and developmental delays
Excellent communication and teaching skills
Positive, student-centered, and compassionate individual
Experience with diagnostic assessments
Understanding of Progress Monitoring and data collection

Experience:

Special education: 1 year (Required)
working with students exhibiting multiple disabilities: 2 years (Preferred)
working with students with emotional challenges: 2 years (Preferred)
working with students with developmental delays: 2 years (Preferred)
