Partners with all internal departments to address business needs and/or deficiencies involving processes or technology as part of small projects or major initiatives using the Salesforce platform. Leverages problems solving skills with interpersonal skills to increase the productivity of individual users. Participates in strategic planning as a valued consultant.
Responsibilities - Performs basic administration of the bank's Salesforce instance and security settings using the standard aspects of the Salesforce setup menu.
- Manages the software development life cycle for all applications implemented on the Salesforce platform.
- Applies a consultative approach to assist with functional planning, design, and operational procedural planning when implementing new systems and/or product enhancements.
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that encourages productive interactions with customers, co-workers and supervisors.
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves end user problems in a manner that exemplifies the bank's high standards of customer service.
- Develops and maintains custom reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously improve data quality, process integrity and productivity.
- Audits, uncovers and resolves data integrity issues.
- Builds strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Develops training plans, materials, and documentation for application users; keeps materials up-to-date, coordinates new user and ongoing training sessions for employees.
- Monitors user adoption rates and responds (via additional training sessions, communication, modifications, or other resources) as needed to improve.
- Assists users with report design and management.
- Delivers training and communication to business users.
- Recommends best practices based on interactions with the user community.
- Defines, communicates, and manages a change management (release) process to develop and implement new vendor application extensions or updates to existing applications.
- Works with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they related to the various applications.
- Works with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage applications to support additional business processes or functions.
- Participates in the integration process with other enterprise systems or other applications as the opportunities arise.
- Assists co-workers with task completion and workload over run as requested.
- Involves orienting and training others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related discipline OR combination of equivalent relevant work experience required and high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 2 years of Salesforce Administrator experience required. Experience in financial service industry preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required. Experience with Platform App Builder preferred.
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, flows, and data management required.
- Experience with programming, web development, and report writing preferred.
- Ability to complete multiple complex and high priority projects and initiatives within scope, budget and timeline. Complex problem-solving abilities with experience in performing root cause analysis.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of Bank personnel.
- Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be self-motivated with strong attention to detail, high level of accountability, and the ability to work independently.
