We are seeking an experienced Commercial Safety Manager to oversee safety protocols and procedures for a dedicated commercial construction project on a larger scale. This role involves ensuring that all safety policies are met and maintained, providing guidance and support to the project team, and fostering a culture of safety on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure the safety of all personnel on site.
- Provide safety training and guidance to all team members, including subcontractors, to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, addressing any safety incidents or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with project management to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Facilitate safety meetings and briefings, ensuring that safety protocols and best practices are communicated effectively.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure that all necessary permits and safety documentation are up to date.
- Stay current with industry safety standards and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance site safety measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and risk management practices.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST, NEBOSH) is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
