Job DescriptionWork Schedule: 100% FTE. This is a salaried paid position. Monday through Friday. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. This is a remote position. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to: Advise clinicians regarding complete and accurate Outpatient /Clinic documentation including accurate HCC capture. Function as a liaison between clinicians and coders. Work as an expert source for information regarding the impact of documentation on patient care, quality outcomes measures, HCC risk adjustment, and to ensure correct reimbursement. Conduct pre and post visit reviews of outpatient/clinic medical records-seeking clarification of documentation. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Nursing Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred Work Experience 3 years of nursing, case management, utilization review or quality resources experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting Required 3 years of Clinical Documentation Integrity experience highly desirable Preferred 5 years of nursing, case management, utilization review, or quality resources experience in an acute care setting Preferred Licenses & Certifications Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist Preferred Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion UW Health is committed to being a diverse, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
