Self-Help's internship program is designed to give students valuable experience in a professional setting while broadening their knowledge of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). It is our hope that we can educate and create a passion for the field of community development in the next generation of leaders.

We are seeking a Real Estate Intern to join our Greensboro Team!

Are you interested in assisting a team in leasing and marketing commercial properties? Self-Help is seeking an intern to join their Real Estate team, which is committed to offering below-market-rate spaces that serve and benefit the community. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week hybrid summer internship runs from May 19th to August 1st and offers a professional development experience designed to enhance your skills and knowledge.

WHAT You'll Do:

• Enhance communication with commercial tenants by creating various messaging strategies
• Assist with research and market analysis studies to support project development
• Provide brand support by developing videos, photos, and copy/content for communications channels and assist with campus and community outreach events alongside the Manager

WHAT You'll Need:

• Undergraduate or graduate students; recent graduates welcome to apply
• Demonstrate a sincere interest in non-profit work, education, advocacy, or social work
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• An enthusiasm for learning
• Strong attention to detail

Intern Hourly Range* : $22.00 (Undergrad); $24.00 (Grad)
