DIRECTV is seeking a Principal of Advanced Analytics professional to gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of operational and customer data to identify key drivers, relationships, and insights to support the Contact Centers organization. The strategic leader requires the ability to bring together disparate datasets to provide data analytics and reporting on agent performance activity. 

Here's what you’ll do:

• Projects may include agent activity analysis, customer behavior/segmentation, agent performance effectiveness product level analysis, and customer experience analysis, all with a focus on proving actionable insights to Contact Centers management.
• Independently develop reports, charts, tables, and visualizations to support analytical insights and to clearly communicate the indicated actions to Leadership and business partners.
• Create, monitor, and explain critical operational health metrics by collecting data from various systems, exploring and synthesizing that data into valuable insights.
• Independently develop and communicate the story in customers, gross add, and churn trends and performance.
• Combine multiple data sets, determine the best approach and variables, and drill to the root cause through analysis and business knowledge,
• Advise business partners regarding patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.
• Mentor Senior Analysts on the team. Assist them 1x1 and on team calls.
• Create and deliver presentations to leadership to drive action and change.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
• Typically requires 8 - 10 years of related experience in advanced analytics, big data, relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing.
• Considered an expert in Advanced Analytics.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; capable of explaining complex information to others in a straightforward manner.
• Expert in SQL, Python, Teradata, SnowFlake, Databricks, PowerBI, Tableau.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.

This position requires approximately, but not limited to, 10% travel.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $127,965 - $232,415

Low (N1): $127,965 - $191,995

Mid (N2): $134,700 - $202,100

High (N3): $148,170 - $222,310

Top (N4): $154,905 - $232,415
