Description Press Cafe Attendant Press Cafe, inside the new Sewell Ford Lincoln, is currently searching for an energetic and friendly team member to join our team. We are hiring part time and full time Cafe Attendants with great customer skills for the public. Hospitality or restaurant experience is a plus!
Schedule: Monday - Saturday, shifts available between 6:00 am 7:00 pm
Key Responsibilities: - Greeting patrons as they enter the dining area
- Assisting guests in ordering & recommendations
- Efficiently operate cash register & responsibly handle cash
- Operating traditional expresso machine
- Brew coffee, tea, make smoothies & shakes, juicing citrus drinks
- Delivering food to guests with a smile
- Taste testing & quality assurance
- Maintaining a clean & orderly dining area
- Collecting & returning used dishes to the kitchen for washing
- Washing, sanitizing, & drying dishes
- Restocking Refrigerators, shelves, & displays
- Counting & tracking inventory
- Disposing of trash
- Cleaning tables, chairs, outside patio area, & storage areas, mopping or sweeping floors when needed
- Delivering orders via curbside
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
- Background and drug screening
- Ability to multitask
- Food handler certified
- TABC certified is a plus
- Work weekends/evening
In order to be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily, have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, complete a drug screening, background screening, and provide all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training is always considered.
Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
