Pediatric Outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity on the South side of Buffalo, New York. Family-owned Private Practice. Treat children in a charming and warm environment. Pace is easy and no corporate patient volume pressure. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

About the Pediatric NP or PA opportunity

• Physician / APP / RN, and LPN team
• General Pediatrics with Behavioral health
• Well exams- ages newborn -21 years of age (anticipatory guidance, physical exam, immunizations)
• Acute visits- URI, UTI, asthma, rash, fever evaluation, otitis media, pneumonia
• Mental health- Diagnose and treat children with Depression, Anxiety, ADD, Autism
• See 15- patients a day
• Current Office hours (open 6 days each week) (Monday 9-5, Tuesday, 9-6, Wednesday and Saturday, 9-12, Friday, 9-4). Practice Owners are open to 4 -10 hour days in future.
• Shared phone call- one week at time with very low call volume
• EMR is eclinical works
• 10 exam rooms (5 sick rooms and 5 well)
• Practice takes Physician Assistant students throughout the year

Requirements for the Pediatric NP or PA opportunity

• Graduate with Master's Degree
• National Certification
• New York State Medical License
• Demonstrated Pediatric interest in training and career
• Candidates with Family Medicine with lots of Pediatrics , Pediatric Preceptorship/Mentorship, Elective Rotations in Pediatrics are favored
• Comfortable working with patient and families
• Strong Tech skills for writing visit notes and checking labs and medical history on laptop and app on phone

• Base salary starts at $87,000
• RVU bonus (roughly 10% of salary)
