Job Summary
The Patient Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative functions of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations. By managing activities such as scheduling, staff supervision, and credentialing, this role is pivotal in optimizing workflow and enhancing patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Management
    • Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimizing wait times.
    • Supervise reception activities and monitor exam room availability for timely care delivery.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Recruit, Train, and evaluate medical assistants and support staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations to ensure high-quality care and efficiency.
  • Credentialing, Licensing, and Accreditation
    • Manage and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with standards.
    • Work with insurance companies and regulatory agencies to expedite approvals.
    • Ensure the facility meets all licensing requirements and stays current with state and federal regulations.
    • Prepare for and facilitate accreditation
  • Policy Implementation
    • Develop, update, and enforce policies to improve patient experiences and operational efficiency.
    • Ensure adherence to patient privacy and safety regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with clinical teams and physicians for seamless patient transitions and care continuity.
    • Facilitate interdisciplinary meetings for care planning and operational enhancement.
  • Patient Inquiries and Conflict Resolution
    • Address and resolve patient inquiries and complaints professionally.
    • Educate patients about services and procedures to enhance understanding and satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Track performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
    • Recommend improvements in operational efficiency and patient care.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in related fields is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare management or a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing patient services or operations in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of sleep disorders and treatments (preferred).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare management software.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Financial acumen in budget management and resource allocation.

Compensation
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 base salary with additional bonus opportunities.
