Job Description: Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated, and proactive Oracle DBA with strong interpersonal and technical skills. He/she will also assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration, maintenance, security best practices, create SOPs and other documentation, anticipate problems, and suggest solutions. Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA / Austin, TX or be willing to relocate Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience At least 3 years' experience as Oracle DBA Experience in Oracle standby maintenance and Data guard configurations At least 2 years of experience in MongoDB Administration and on-call support Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting replication in Oracle using Goldengate Background in building large database infrastructures supporting high volumes of transactions in a mission-critical environment Expertise in optimizing and performance tuning of Databases including drill-down analysis Good knowledge of backup and recovery techniques All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply Preferred Qualifications: Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment Good in communication and in Client Interaction Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business, technical teams and higher management Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, tight deadline delivery timeline About Us Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
