Position : Neurosurgery, Neurology Physician Assistant PA-C

Salary : $110-000 - 170,000 + Full Suite of Benefits

The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our hospital client and seeks a  Physician Assistant (PA-C) specialized in neurology to join a growing multidisciplinary neurosciences team. 

Built by a nationally recognized top hospital in Neuroscience and run by a well-recognized and accomplished Neurosurgeon, the Neurology Institute seeks a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to assist in pre and post-surgical care for patients at this state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Surgical speciality areas: cranial/spine neurosurgery, endovascular, head & neck, ENT surgery) 
• Perform neurosurgical diagnostic and surgical procedures; develop patient care plans and assist with pre and post-procedure patient follow up
• Act as an educator, patient advocate, navigator, change agent, and case management consultant, seeking the best patient and financial outcomes
• Complete daily rounding, medication reconciliations, orders, progress notes/tertiary surveys, and discharge orders
• Collaborate with other Providers and cross-cover for patient care teams consisting of neurologists and neurosurgeons
• Assist in analyzing data, surveys, and creating reports to improve the delivery of care for patients and families

Requirements

• Graduate Degree from an accredited PA school 
• Current Licensure as a Physician Assistant PA in the state of Illinois
• ​​Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license
• Passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the evolution of neurocritical care through research and clinical advancements.
• Acute-Care Physician Assistant experience
