Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat MIG Welders for projects located in and around Milwaukee, WI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $27/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Precision Welding on Various Heavy Gauge Steel Projects, including Fuel Tanks, Trailers, Large Generator Enclosures, and Modular Metal Enclosures
• Steel and Aluminum Welding
• GMAW/MIG Welding,
• Troubleshoot and Problem Solve
• Welding i-beam frame and fuel tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions
• Clamp, hold, tack weld, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding position
• Secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines, or hand tools
• Inspect products/ equipment for defects/ malfunctions
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• • Proficient in Steel and Aluminum Welding
  • Accurate Reading of Measurement Devices such as Tape Measure
  • Able to Read, Interpret Blueprints
  • Committed to Safety, Quality, and Productivity
  • Detail Oriented
  • Adept in the Latest Welding Techniques
  • Able to Work both Independently and as Part of a Team
  • Flexibility to Work any Hours
  • Able to Pass Welding Test(s)
  • Able to Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
  • Must be able to pass a competency test and math test working with fractions
  • Must be highly motivated, able to communicate and work well with others, pay attention to details, and have a strong drive to succeed
  • Standard PPE
