Kenilworth Medical Associates (KMA) is an Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology private practice located in the Chicagoland area.

Kenilworth Medical is seeking a Full Time Medical Scribe responsibilities will include but not limited to performing documentation in the EHR, gathering information for the patient's visit, and partnering with the physician to deliver the pinnacle of efficient patient care.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in healthcare settings, particularly in the role of medical scribe
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong typing skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Understanding of medical note content, and medical billing and coding

Typical hours per week - 35+, Monday-Friday & Saturday mornings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

KMA is seeking to hire a full time Medical Assistant to work collaboratively with a small team of providers (one MD, one PA, two NP) and nursing staff. Applicant will receive training on site.

The Medical Assistant's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients
Check-out patients, assist with referral processing, and arrange laboratory services
Handle some billing process
Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history
Set-up and administer injections and medications
Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments
Assist physician with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies
