Description

The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact with patients when they call and come into our offices.

BENEFITS OF THE MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST POSITION ARE :

MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manages incoming calls for all offices - answers patient questions, schedules appointments, routes incoming calls to appropriate departments, manages and responds to voicemails.

2. Completes patient check in and check out using 2 EMR systems - EPIC & Blueprint

3. Proactively plans for each day -Prepares for new patients, pulls paperwork, schedules interpreters, pulls referrals, verifies insurances. Makes sure paperwork is complete for a seamless transition to the provider.

3. Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the lobby and reception area

4. Schedules patient appointments for multiple providers at our multiple locations

5. Processes patient payments and responsible for balancing office funds at end of shift.

6. Provide patients with support needed for a seamless experience at our practice.

7. Responsible for closing office at end of day.

Requirements

1. Must be able to work in any of our office locations when needed. We have offices located in Florence, Edgewood, Ft. Thomas, KY and Lawrenceburg, IN.

2. Prior experience working in medical administration is preferred.

3. Must be customer service driven

4. Must be available to work between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday - Friday.
