As a medical front desk specialist working in our office, you will be part of a team that provides our patients with the highest quality of care and experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to welcome our patients and to coordinate their care and appointments. We are willing and ready to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering patient calls on multi-line phone system
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Entering patient demographics and insurance information
• Accurately documenting patient messages in electronic medical record
• Collecting balances and co-pays
• Scanning and faxing medical records
• Keeping up with Patient Assistance medications
• Fulfilling medical records requests
• Maintaining Home Health orders

Requirements include:

• Ability to demonstrate compassion and care toward patients and co-workers
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer and typing skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
