JOB SUMMARY:

• The AR Follow Up Specialist is responsible for the efficient use of a variety of medical billing systems and performs tasks for claims processing, and follow up on unpaid claims.
• Researches and resolves denials and payment variances, completing appeals, with the goal of maximizing collections.
• Maintains patient financial records and efficiently documents account notes.
• Achieves established key performance indicator goals for Revenue Cycle.
• Must be flexible, multitask, and performs a variety of duties as requested by Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills.
• Degree or HS Diploma not required
• 1-3 years of medical billing experience
• Durable medical equipment billing and/or infusion billing experience a plus
