ESSENTIAL DETAILS:

  • Essential role supporting marketing campaign planning and execution.
  • Assists/supports business development processes as directed.
  • Creation of a variety of marketing content for internal/external channels.
  • Wide customer base including military installations, government, industrial locations.
  • Willing to submit to a stringent background screening (Federal Contractor).
  • Possess high integrity and pride in your work.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The EST Marketing/Business Development - Intern must possess marketing/sales knowledge, skills, and abilities in order to assist with driving traffic and seeking new business opportunities. . Represents and promotes the company; its products and services, as well as pro-actively researches and pursues new opportunities for prospects/projects.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will be a junior/senior college student majoring in marketing/business with successful courses in marketing, business or equivalent. Marketing, statistical/analytical skills, customer orientation, strong proficiency with various types of  marketing/CRM/Graphic Design software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with mechanical/electrical equipment a plus.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Understanding of the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals.
  • Effective proposal management skills, including planning, organization, problem-solving, and resource management.
  • Fluent in English, excellent communication, listening skills, self-motivated, sense of urgency, personable, well organized and dependable.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0/4.0.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport, Military base passes, Driver’s license and other access credentials.
 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • May involves prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk doing computer work
  • Traveling in a vehicle or on an airplane – 10%
  • Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds.
