We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Manager of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) to join our dynamic team in the production industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company complies with all environmental, health, and safety regulations. This role involves creating and enforcing policies and procedures, developing emergency response plans, conducting safety audits and inspections, and managing remediation operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage company-wide environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures to comply with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
2. Develop and execute emergency response plans.
3. Investigate industrial accidents or injuries and recommend corrective actions.
4. Perform regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
5. Conduct training on safety laws and regulations to ensure all employees are well-informed.
6. Maintain and apply knowledge of policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
8. Initiate, direct, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
9. Track incident rates and statistics to monitor safety performance.
10. Evaluate and recommend good manufacturing practices and environmental requirements when ordering new equipment.
11. Lead safety program team and maintain EH&S procedures and policies.
12. Prepare EH&S summary reports and evaluate potential health hazards.
13. Manage remediation operations to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
14. Manage the completion of quarterly and annual reporting to regulatory agencies.
15. Initiate, direct, and implement ecological standards for wastewater and air quality programs.
16. Manage hazardous waste program in compliance with regulations.
17. Maintain all required environmental records and documentation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an EH&S role, preferably in the production industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong communication and training skills.
6. Ability to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
7. Experience in managing remediation operations.
8. Proficient in maintaining environmental records and documentation.
9. Ability to initiate, direct, and implement SOPs.
10. Experience in managing hazardous waste programs.
11. Proficient in preparing EH&S summary reports and evaluating potential health hazards.
12. Ability to manage the completion of quarterly and annual reporting to regulatory agencies.
