Title: Litigation Paralegal (On-Site) Salary: $70,000-85,000, Annually depending on experience Location: New York, NY (Soho) About the Firm: We are offering the opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal at a close-knit law firm in Soho. This position is for an experienced Paralegal looking to continue their career in litigation. Benefits: 15 PTO days and firm-observed holidays Health, dental, and life insurance for the employee and their dependents/family Flexible spending account 401K with matching 25% component and profit sharing plan offered once eligible Annual discretionary performance bonus Training, professional development & mentorship opportunities Job Responsibilities To Include: Manage the litigation department calendar Organize and maintain files Conduct litigation correspondence with clients and courts Prepare discovery demands and responses Assist litigation department attorneys with trial preparation, motion practice, and drafting pleadings Requirements: 5 years of litigation experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant outside of personal injury and immigration law Familiarity with CPLR, FRCP, e-filing, e-discovery and State and Federal court rules (mandatory) Experience with NYSCEF, table of authorities, and preparing documents for service Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding client relations skills Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and is not representative of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
