Job Description

Responsibilities:

Empower and Support: Provide compassionate and evidence-based therapy to individuals facing mental health challenges, including individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
Build Connections: Foster a supportive and collaborative environment, promoting open communication and building trusting relationships with clients.
Assess and Develop Treatment Plans: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans that address mental health concerns.
Educate and Advocate: Provide education and support to clients, families, and community members about mental health topics, reducing stigma and promoting well-being.
Collaborate and Network: Maintain strong relationships with community partners and agencies, ensuring seamless coordination of care and access to additional resources.
Maintain Professional Standards: Uphold ethical standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity in all interactions.
Document and Report: Accurately document client progress and maintain necessary records in accordance with agency guidelines.
Participate in Professional Development: Actively engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:

Master's Degree: Hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Licensure: Be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent.
Experience: Preferred experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses in a clinical setting.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Cultural Sensitivity: Demonstrate an understanding of and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences.
Ethical Practice: Adhere to professional ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of severity.
Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records and other technology systems.
Knowledge of community resources and support systems.
