Under the direct supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), the Special Investigator Assistant (SIA) plays a crucial role in the arrest-only investigation process, handling routine investigative tasks and providing key support in the investigation of referable crimes. This work is essential to the background check process, ensuring the thorough and timely handling of Arrest-Only cases while upholding safety and compliance standards.
Applicants with knowledge of CCLD licensing laws, regulations and procedures, background check case management system, Licensing Information System (LIS), and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other common software programs are highly desirable and will be given priority consideration. • This position requires a fingerprint clearance by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
• The Care Provider Management Branch exercises a hybrid work schedule as determined by the Department of Social Services. This is subject to change based on business needs.

The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each candidate's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. The SOQ should not be more than two pages, using Arial, 12-point font size. The two prompts listed below must be clearly restated before your response:
