Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a Sales Professional to join their sales team. Individuals will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders, and deliveries, and provide support for sales representatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNED TASKS

• Respond to inquiries via email and phone
• Qualify sales opportunities
• Contact clients to obtain information and answer queries
• Generate sales quotes and technical price proposals
• Contribute to developing periodic sales reports
• Perform follow-ups to move opportunities through the sales funnel
• Liaise with the Engineering and Logistics groups to ensure timely deliveries
• Communicate important feedback from customers internally
• Perform customer service functions
• Maintain customer records and contacts in Salesforce
• Stay current with new products and features
• Assist with tradeshow planning and generating sales/marketing materials

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Four-year degree in business preferred
• Demonstrated experience in sales, sales support, sales administration
• MS Office proficiency required. Experience with CRM software a major plus
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• A team player with high level of dedication
• Ability to work under strict deadlines in manner consistent with project goals and objectives
• Exercise good judgement, demonstrate effective communication skills, and work cooperatively with others in all departments
• This position offers significant growth potential and opportunities for business travel
• A valid U.S. passport and California driver's license is required
