Description The Operations Planning Analyst will be responsible for examining production, labor and financial data in order to support improvements to planning. A creative problem solver with solid analytical skills will be an excellent asset to our team. Responsibilities: Develop transportation plans that optimize resources to accomplish productivity and operational capacity goals Analyze transportation planning processes for improvements Build and manage plans for 3 rd party transportation partners to support overall transportation plans Contribute to and lead transportation continuous improvement strategies Support operations partners if finding opportunities to improve capacity or productivity Using Fresh Directs operating and business intelligence reporting platforms (e.g., SAP, Business Objects, MS Excel, Power BI) to analyze KPI's and use the data to feed into the planning and routing processes Develop analytical tools and dashboards to aid the logistics analysts make decisions based on sound data. Support department in analyzing and modeling current and new delivery models Education and Qualifications: BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or related engineering or Supply Chain field; Master's a plus Less than one-year experience in a process improvement and or analytical role or recent graduate with related internship experience Prior work experience in operations, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing preferred Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) Must be able to work weekends and nights. Knowledge of statistical and other quantitative and qualitative analytical methodologies Strong written and verbal communication skills Quick and enthusiastic learner, driven by the thirst for knowledge and desire to solve problems Critical thinker & creative problem-solver along with being detail-oriented Comfortable juggling and coordinating multiple projects with competing priorities Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and excellent interpersonal skills Experience in a fast-moving cross-functional work environment Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture Learn more @FreshDirect on Twitter , Instagram , Facebook , YouTube !
