Job Description
Essential Functions Statement(s) Assist the HR team with daily office operations including but not limited to:
- Meet and Greet guests of HR
- Assists with Hiring Events
- Assists with End of Season Unemployment documentation
- Provides Data Entry as assigned
- Assists with Team Member survey's and benefit open enrollment
- Maintenance of personnel files
- Update and create employee ID's
- Coordinate and track employee recognition programs
- Answer phones, sort mail, fax
- Process in employees to include compliance with drug screening procedure and ordering backgrounds/MVR/credit checks
- Provide assistance with Employee Relations/Functions/Events
- Assists with special events and projects as needed
Occasionally works on-park for other departments during special events; willing to be trained to function as a park team member, as needed by park operations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Primary work space will an indoor, professional office setting; occasionally requires outdoor work in all weather conditions.
General - Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures
- Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
- Satisfy Wild Adventures' standards for performance and conduct. For example, report to work regularly and on time.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Create "Memories Worth Repeating" for our guests
- Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High school diploma, or equivalent
Experience: 6 months - 2 years general office experience; experience in a human resources office, preferred
Computer Skills: Must have strong computer skills, including intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word/Excel/ PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar programs needed in the position
Physical Requirements: - Vision - near, distance, color, peripheral, depth
- Sense of sound and ability to hear with both ears
- Sense of touch
Other Requirements - Must be detail oriented and accurate in organizing information
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to relate and communicate with internal and external customers in a friendly and professional manner; must be able to handle situations with professionalism and courtesy
