As they build their team, they are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist / Onboarding Specialist to manage the recruitment, screening, and onboarding processes for new employees.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist / Onboarding Specialist to join our client's team. This role is critical in managing the end-to-end hiring process, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires into the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and staffing needs.
Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies.
Post job openings, manage advertisements, and attract top talent.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with relevant team members.
Screening:
Conduct background checks, reference checks, and verify employment history.
Evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the company culture.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of candidate interactions and statuses.
Onboarding:
Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.
Prepare and distribute new hire documentation, such as contracts and benefits information.
Ensure new employees have the resources and information needed for a successful start.
Conduct follow-up meetings to address any initial concerns and gather feedback.
Administrative Duties:
Stay updated on employment laws and best practices.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Support various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in HR, recruitment, or onboarding.
Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
