The Kennebunkport Captains Collection is seeking a motivated, organized housekeeper to join our team. Firmly rooted in the culture and tradition of Kennebunkport history, the KCC is a modern collection of four historic Maine homes formerly owned by sea captains. Your mission is to provide an exceptional experience to every guest who stays with us. As a housekeeper, your primary focus will be the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms and common guest areas. If cleaning is a task that sparks joy for you and you love working with a team, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: • Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed • Reply to general questions guests have during their stay • Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby • Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel’s standards before guests arrive • Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned Qualifications: • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent • Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired • Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills • Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques Compensation: $18-$20 hourly
