Job Description
Heyl Family Practice, a division of Genesis Medical Associates, Inc., is currently seeking a full-time Front Office Specialist to support our McCandless Office located at the Passavant McCandless Campus.
As the first person they will interact with when they check-in at our office, it is important you feel confident in dealing with patients, inputting information, and working as a team to get patients in and out efficiently. Although this role will primarily support the “check-out” process with patients, understanding the “check-in” process and helping (when necessary) should be expected.
This position requires a daylight schedule from 8:30-5:00pm Monday-Friday, with the understanding that due the nature of healthcare, shifts may require you to stay slightly longer to ensure all office visits are completed.
Additionally, this position will play a vital role in managing pre-visit prep, as some of the initial responsibilities upon arrival will tasks associated with that. It is important the person applying for this role has strong organizational skills, pays close attention to detail, and is a self-starter.

Responsibilities include:
** Please note that due to the nature of this position and the fact that we are a medical office, the end time for shifts may vary depending on the provider schedules and patient needs. At times, you may need to stay longer than scheduled to ensure there is coverage until all patients are seen and checked out. Additionally, as provider schedules change, there will be adjustments to your schedule to ensure you get in your 8 hours. Any time accumulated will be compensated accordingly. **
