EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

Overview

Seeking a highly experienced and professional Executive Housekeeper who will oversee the well-being of residence in South Charlotte, NC. This is a hands-on position whereas the candidate will perform the day to day duties to ensure all equipment is in working order and daily maintenance schedules are adhered to, all the while having the ability to recognize when a professional vendor is required to handle the more sophisticated issues. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is experienced in formal service, with skills that range from housekeeping, driving, home maintenance, vendor management, serving dinner, both formally and informally, ability to organize and oversee caterers and someone who is flexible and available to care for and anticipate the family’s needs.

Duties

• Work with other household staff, vendors, and contractors
• Clean and maintain the home as required
• Laundry
• Light cooking, healthy and nutritious meals
• Assist Principal in planning of special events, and dinner parties
• Greet guests at the door and handle reception of visitors
• Inventory and purchase cleaning supplies, paper goods and food
• Personal shopping, and shopping for gifts
• Drive family/guest to and from appointments
• Perform errands that require driving and shopping
• Daily check of all lighting including lamps, ceiling lights and art lights
• Daily check of all TVs and other electronics
• Distribute mail
• Experience with Smart Home Technology
• Pet care
• The right candidate may be required to work outside of the duties listed above from time to time and need to possess “a get it done attitude”

Requirements

• Stable, highly-referenceable work history
• 5+ years’ experience working in a private home
• Valid driver’s license
• Non-Smoker

Target Compensation:

Salary commensurate with experience

Insurance: medical, dental, vision. 401(k), life and disability insurance

PTO: two weeks vacation after the first year
