Entry-Level Billing Clerk

Provide administrative and accounts receivable functions for our main corporate office. Accounts receivable duties include processing customer invoices, handling billing inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely billing for products and services. Successful candidate will display ability to perform tasks independently, with a high degree of accuracy, in a professional and cheerful manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Invoicing:
  • Accurately generate and issue invoices to clients for sales made at corporate office, ensuring all details are correct
• Customer Support:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients regarding invoices, including sending invoices via email or other means, such as uploading to customer portals when required
  • Assist in resolving any billing-related issues with customers with a high level of professionalism and accuracy, with the ability to explain details and answer questions
• Invoice Management:
  • Maintain both digital and physical transactional records by scanning, archiving, and organizing them
• Additional Duties:
  • Operate standard office equipment
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address billing issues and ensure accurate reporting
  • Other duties related to billing may be assigned as necessary

Skills Required

• Previous working experience as an accounts receivable clerk or in a similar setting is a plus
• Manage and prioritize time and tasks effectively
• Maintain organized records and work areas
• Ability to analyze, solve, and correct discrepancies
• Keen attention to detail
• Dependability
• Clear oral and written communication skills
• Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook; QuickBooks experience a plus
• Professional email communications
