Position: On-Demand Delivery Driver
Location: Varies based on delivery routes
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday - 4am to 5pm
Please note that future orders for the next day are scheduled pick ups for the next morning. Orders for the next morning will alert our dashboards @2pm PST the prior day.
Responsibilities:
• Pick up and deliver packages or materials to specified locations
• Load and unload items at designated pickup and drop-off points.
• Use appropriate PPE, including a hard hat, safety boots, and a vest, when required by the delivery site.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning.
• Safeguard all materials during transport.
• Track and report mileage and deliveries accurately.
• Handle your own vehicle maintenance and upkeep as this role requires the use of your personal vehicle.
Requirements:
(Semi Truck, Box Truck, Sprinter Van, Cargo Van, Pick Up Truck, or SUV)
• A reliable personal vehicle that is capable of handling delivery loads.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle for deliveries, accruing mileage.
• Ability to work on-call or part-time hours based on demand.
• Physical ability to load and unload materials. A helper with you is ok but not required
• Availability to adhere to safety protocols and use required PPE at some sites.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous delivery or logistics experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with using GPS and navigating efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working in varied environments and complying with site-specific safety requirements. Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
Compensation:
• All payments for services rendered will be processed through Bill.com, a third party payment platform. You will receive an invitation to set up an account with Bill.com. Payment Period: The payment period runs from Saturday at 12am to Friday and 11:59pm. Pay Day: Payments for previous week will be processed and issued on Wednesday for the following week.
