Provide nursing and comprehensive health services within the scope of a registered nurse. Health Services Program Management and Administration, School Health Advisory Counsel oversight. Provide Nursing Services to the district and maintain appropriate health services records. Provide instruction to students and adults for certifications and health instruction. Provide consultation for administration, students receiving special education services and emergency management. Develop, recommend, and implement health policies, procedures, and protocols. Seek continued professional development that supports school goals and objectives and which results in continual professional growth for oneself and the collective school staff. Support and participate in school and community activities. Salary WISD Compensation Plan- Yrs. of RN exp. considered Deadline Until Filled Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program, Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: 3 years experience in nursing (preferably in a high-stress environment such as ER or military or other emergency response). Certification: Valid registered nurse license (RN) from the Texas Board of Nursing or from a state participating in the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC), Current automatic external defibrillator (AED), and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificates.
