Job Description

Beacon Hill Associates is seeking a highly qualified Distribution Specialist for a three-month contract opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves efficiently processing and delivering supply chain orders, ensuring timely customer service and accurate product handling. It also includes obtaining delivery confirmations, assisting with product selection, and escalating issues to leadership when needed.

This position has several shift schedules, which are as follows:

4:00 am - 12:30 pm, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, 11:00 am - 7:30 pm

Daily Duties:

• Accurately processes supply chain orders promptly, minimizing sorting during putaway.
• Delivers supplies to customers, obtains signatures using handheld devices, and closes out delivery tickets.
• Responds to customer requests promptly and courteously.
• Assists with product selection and locating items.
• Escalates issues to leadership when further assistance is needed to resolve requests.

• Strong attention to detail ensures timely and accurate supply chain order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to respond promptly, courteously, and professionally to customer requests.
• Organizational skills to manage delivery tickets, obtain signatures, and close out orders efficiently.
• Problem-solving abilities to assist with product selection and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
• Practical communication skills to collaborate with customers and internal teams while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
