Job Summary Join the Hirsch team as the Central Distribution Center
Assistant Operations Manager! The Assistant Operations Manager will assist in managing 24/5 DC operations, ensuring timely transfers to branches and overseeing a single shift's activities. Responsibilities include retrieving materials from vendors, replenishing branches, rebalancing inventory, and handling reverse logistics. The role ensures accurate product receipt and order fulfillment, drives continuous improvement, and optimizes resources and processes.

Requirements
Job Duties •Plans and directs warehouse activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and inventory accuracy while building and leading a high-performance team.
•Implements improvements in warehouse operations and develops a safety culture to achieve zero incidents/accidents.
•Monitors inventory and operational performance, address issues proactively, and collaborate with branch managers for effective operations.
•Provides leadership in employee relations, including hiring, training, mentoring, and resolving issues while fostering talent and succession planning.
•Ensures compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality of business strategies and sensitive information.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, in other related areas or equivalent experience
- Three+ years of progressive work experience in warehouse management and logistics
- Work related experience in the wholesale industry or construction trade
- Knowledge of plumbing supply products, customers and suppliers
- Knowledge of warehouse management system software
